Autoresponders - Are You Flushing Money Down the Toilet?

Do You Have an Autoresponder?

If not then you're throwing perfectly good cash away each and every day. Why you ask? Because autoresponders allow you to build a list of your customers. It gives you the power to stay in front of them as often as possible. Once you have a list, it's yours to keep. No one can ever take it away from you. And the most exciting part is you get to monetize the list...over and over again.

There are several ways to monetize or make money from your list. One way is follow-up offers or upsells. One general marketing principle is it usually takes 7xs - 10xs for a prospect to see a message before they take any action. So whether it's your initial offer or if your offering an additional product or service, an autoresponder makes the process of staying in front of your customer simple. Just write 7-10 messages for your email campaign and schedule them out for the next month or so. You're selling without even being there.

It's always Cheaper to Sell to an Existing Customer than it is to Acquire a New One

There's always an upfront cost to acquiring any customer - known as the customer acquisition cost. Once you have a customer, it's easier to re-sell to that person over and over again. They already trust you enough to do business with you. It's best to capitalize off that relationship as much as possible.

The average internet marketer sells one product to a particular customer one time. They don't think of the customer as a potential life-long relationship. The top marketers looks at a sale as the beginning, not the end. Why spend more money, time and energy looking for new customers when you can leverage the rapport you already have with an existing one. The sale process will generally be quicker and cheaper.

Joint Venture Partnerships

Joint ventures also known as JVs or JV Partnerships are one of the best ways to leverage and monetize your list. You can partner up with someone who has a similar product or service to offer your customers. And if you dare, you can even do a JV with a direct competitor.

Now you may be wondering, why on earth would I let my competitor sell to MY customers? Well to top marketers know that there is plenty to go around. There is such a thing as 'shared customers.' Do you shop at more than one grocery store? I'm sure you do. It's the same idea. People buy from multiple place to fulfill their needs. Your competitor may have a product or service that works for them the best at that moment and time. Some of the pie is better than none. Why not make commission off competitor sells. There is the possibility that they could find your customer and sell to them without your knowledge and you make nothing at all.

Autoresponders are powerful tools. This is what skyrockets some internet marketers from making $1k a month to $10k a month. Just by having an automated way to reach customers over and over again. Don't throw good money away. Build a list, the possibilities to monetize are endless. They know you and trust you. Nurture that relationship, explore it to the fullest extent. You'll see a significant impact in your business.
