Getting paid to do surveys

When looking for a part-time job, the first thing that comes to mind is a job at a fast food chain or a popular pizzeria, but not all side jobs need to be outside of the home.

If you have a computer, you can also join programs like Getting Paid To Do Surveys. These are computer jobs that can be done, possibly at your break time, or when you're at home and have some time to spare. There are lot of advertising companies that offer to pay just by participating in online surveys, forums, or group discussions and giving your opinion and experience about a particular product.

Getting paid to do surveys works like an advertisement on television and print ad media, only these companies spend less than they would if they would hire a group of people to make a short film or banner advertising for them.

Online paid surveys work very simply. All you have to do is to sign up on their website and look for a topic that they would like you to work on or that interests you. Once you are done and submitted your topic or survey, all you have to do is to wait for the confirmation that your work passed their requirements. You will either receive checks sent directly to you, or many pay through a PayPal account. Sometimes survey companies will also allow you to to earn gift certificates that can be used for things you would be buying anyhow. Another way to earn is to make referrals to the survey company to help them get more paid survey takers.

You will need to do your research and be careful when choosing to take paid surveys online. Not all companies who promise big earnings are legitimate, so it is best to do some research on the company's profile first.

Getting paid to take surveys is possible and has become a great work from home opportunity for many people. It is important to start out your new online business by choosing a reputable company that will offer you the most earning potential. Make Money With YouTube - How I Made $630 Today Using Video

In this article I will break down exactly how I used video, and specifically YouTube, to generate $630 today online.

But before I jump into the anatomy of this process, I want to start by saying that if you're an internet marketer and not currently using video to either promote yourself or your business, then you are not maximizing all of the social media mediums at your disposal. Video currently represents the most powerful free marketing tool available, allowing us to share our message with thousands of people from all over the world.

Okay, so in simple terms, this is exactly how I make money with video, and more importantly, how I was able to make money with Youtube this very afternoon.

1) The first thing I did was create a quick video pertaining to successful entrepreneurship and post it on YouTube (which in this case was a video discussing the merits of the book 'The 4 Hour Workweek' by Tim Ferriss) as a resource to aspiring entrepreneurs. Since my target audience is comprised of aspiring online entrepreneurs, I try to make videos that are educational in nature that actually teach people how to build a business online. Subsequently, I made this video several months ago.

2) My prospect, who would eventually join my business, was searching YouTube one day from his home in Australia for information on the book 'The 4 Hour Workweek.' When he entered the title of the book, my video came up first on his search. He clicked on my link and watched my video.

3) After watching the video and wanting to know more about me and what my business was, he clicked on the link to my website (placed conveniently and deliberately in the description section next to the video.)

4) After visiting my website, he opted-in to my email list, and then began receiving follow-up, educational video emails from me on a wide range of internet marketing topics.

5) As his interest in online business grew, he began sending me emails wanting to know more about how I was making money online, and how possible it would be for him to duplicate my results.

6) After a few conversations, he acknowledged that he wanted to join my business. The next day (today), I received an email from my company saying that he had just joined my team and that I had generated a $630 commission.

In summary, this new teammate and my $630 commission resulted from one video that I made several months back. It was a video that took me an hour to make and put on YouTube, and that was it. Of course there were other factors that led to this sale in addition to the video, like me responding to some of his questions and me having an opportunity to offer him in the first place (i.e., the company I have been apart of for several years). But my point here is that this whole process started with video...one video that was made for free. I have many, many more videos on a wide range of topics that work for me in the same way across the internet. Remember, video marketing is a powerful thing. Once you make a video, it will work for you again and again, so don't forget to take advantage of this free marketing strategy.

5 easy ways to make money for kids

There are lots of ways for kids to make money, and most kids want to make money at some point in their lives. If you want to make some extra spending money as a kid, pick something that you are good at or like doing. Here are five unique ways that you can make money.

1. Try taking pet pictures. Kids can make money by simply taking pictures of peoples' pets. This is for people that like taking pictures and that like pets. There are many people out there that are crazy about their pets. You can provide a nice picture taking service for them. Get a good camera, a backdrop for the pictures, a stand for your camera, and possibly some photo editing software. Advertise yourself by making advertisements, posters, and telling all of your friends.

2. Are you good at fixing things? Try opening a bike fixing shop in your garage. Most kids have bikes, and most kids will break their bikes sometime. Start a shop and charge to do simple things like filling tires with air or oiling the chain. If you have some money, you can do bigger things like replace the brakes.

3.Help old people. There are probably a lot of old people in your town, and many can not do everything in their yard or house that they used to. They probably need help mowing, trimming, landscaping, raking leaves, scooping snow, cleaning their house, organizing their garage, and many other things as well. Be very nice and make friends with them, and you will get paid quite a bit!

4. Try making money for kids by shoveling snow or raking leaves for people. Not only old people need their yards cleaned :-)

5.Make greeting cards. If you are a good artist, good with computers, or good at making things, try making greeting cards and selling them. You can make them by hand, or even on the computer.

7 New Year Tips for Making Money Online

As we are rapidly approaching the New Year, here are a few basic, sensible tips on how YOUR attitude can affect your ability to make money online:

1. Action!

The MOST fundamental thing anyone can do to make money online is to TAKE ACTION. Never mind downloading or buying enough info and data to learn everything BEFORE you actually do anything - you can never learn everything and all you will end up with is Information Overload and you will certainly put yourself off by believing that you have to have ALL of these things in place BEFORE you get up and running. Do NOT procrastinate!

2. Perserverence!

If you are seriously intent on making money online, please take note that over 90% of people who start up an online business fail and never make any money, plus the average time that they last is a maximum of only 6 months - be realistic in your ambition. You may make some instant money but be prepared to invest time and effort over a period of months to hone your business and get established. I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a get rich quick business.

3. Focus!

The next most important thing is, you have got to do one thing (properly) at one time. Don't do bits of this and bits of that and end up doing nothing much at all. Be methodical in your approach and do one thing correctly and totally at one time - then move on to the next thing and do that properly, etc...

4. Learn to use your business tools!

If you are selling information products (the primary product available online) you've got to be able to write convincing copy, i.e. sales pages, squeeze pages, articles, ebooks, reviews, etc... You may be able to outsource these items but your own personal feelings and enthusiasm will go a long way with your Customers. As you will be marketing online, you will also need to have a website (or different websites) so you will either have to learn and understand HTML and possibly FTP, or invest in a web hosting Company that do this for you.

5. Invest in the bare essentials!

You WILL need to have a functioning website (or multiple sites), a method of receiving payments e.g. PayPal or ClickBank account, an autoresponder, e.g. MailChimp, AWeber, etc... These items are the bare essentials but before you sign up to any account, do a bit of research and ensure that they will do what you want them to do.

6. Treat your Customers well!

Remember, the Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT! Treat them well and they WILL spend money on your products. Yes they can be a pain, but if you can give your Customers what they want, give them good value, and treat them as special they will return and continually buy from you. People buy from people, plus you should get the reputation of making your Customers feel as though they are getting one to one personal treatment. N.B. If you've got NO Customers, you've got NO business!

7. Prepare yourself for an email avalanche!

If like me you have subscribed to a lot of newsletters etc.. you will be swamped with 100's of emails everyday, all wanting you to part with your hard-earned cash for the latest, secret method of being an overnight millionaire. It's really tempting to just unsubscribe and delete all of these emails, but seriously, I would take a bit of time to have a quick look at them and organise them in to some sort of order. The plus point is, they will keep you abreast of what is current and what other internet marketers (the opposition) are up to, so keep your subscription up but don't spend too much time on them.
